FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO PURCHASE TWO ADDITIONAL COAST GUARD SHIPS FROM HALIFAX SHIPYARD

This $3.5 Billion dollar project will keep work at the Halifax Shipyard for years to come.

The Navy Fleet Replacement has already brought thousands of jobs to Nova Scotia and the newest announcement of two additional Arctic Offshore Patrol Ships for the Canadian Coast Guard will ensure the Coast Guard has the capacity to do its work, and that employees will continue to have a job at the shipyard.

This work will support families for years to come with good paying jobs. The ships will re-establish our navy as world-class with ships being built in Canada by Canadians.
