We have made serious progress to help better serve our veterans on several fronts but we have not won the war.

Our men and women in uniform, and the Veterans who came before them, risk their lives to maintain and protect our freedom.

OUR RESULTS

• Over $10,000,000,000 (ten billion!) in new services and programs for Veterans

• Reopened all 9 Veterans Affairs offices, including one in Sydney, Nova Scotia

• Introduced a Pension For Life for ill and injured Veterans

• Increased the Earnings Loss Benefit to 90% of pre-release salary for Veterans

• Established the Veteran’s Education and Training benefit covering up to $80,000 in educational costs per Veteran.

• $24.2 million to restore Veteran’s grave sites including restoration and headstone replacement

• Improving eligibility requirements so more Veterans can now access beds at the Camp Hill Hospital

• $625,000 towards the new Legion and CACL facility to help support veterans a legion members in Antigonish
