NEW AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS IN ANTIGONISH

Our government has established a $40 billion National Housing Strategy to help mitigate the shortage of affordable housing for low-income Canadians.

As part of Canada’s historic $40 billion National Housing Strategy, this project in Antigonish has helped address the shortage of affordable housing for low-income community members. The development in Antigonish consists of six two-bedroom units for low-income families, and four one-bedroom units of which one will be fully accessible. This investment is one of many in our community, which has seen over $3 Million spent on affordable housing for local residents.
